A four-year-old female pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit and run driver in Glendale on Friday.
The accident happened just before 5 p.m. near the corner of Wilson Ave. and Olive St. The girl was walking with her family when she was hit by a white car. According to Glendale police officer Tom Lorenz, the little girl ran into the street between two parked cars and was hit. The driver fled the scene of the accident.
The girl was transported to Glendale Adventist, where she was pronounced dead.
If you or a loved one has suffered injury or death as the result of a hit and run accident, you should speak with a personal injury lawyer about your right to compensation. If the hit and run vehicle and driver are never identified, the injury victim or their family may be able to make an uninsured motorist claim under their own auto insurance policy, if the victim (or the victim's parents) had uninsured motorist coverage.
